When an emergency happens within a community or region, its impact depends largely on the healthcare and emergency systems’ ability to respond. All healthcare organizations, from the largest hospital to the small community health center, need to work together in a coordinated fashion to effectively respond to the disaster and work towards recovery.
District 8 Emergency Preparedness and Planning Coalition’s mission is for the development and support of preparedness, planning, and response to manmade or natural events across all disciplines of Emergency Response.
